Guillaume Marcenac and Tess Merlot

Oh la la Noël!
An evening of French Christmas music and winter stories with singer Tess Merlot and pianist Guillaume Marcenac
An intimate evening, focusing on French (Christmas) music and winter tales. Featuring the The Hague singer and storyteller Tess Merlot, top pianist and composer Guillaume Marcenac, and a special guest.
Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Dalida, and of course Tino Rossi: they all sang about the romance and melancholy that the holiday season brings. Their Christmas songs and the stories behind them are at the heart of this program by chanson singer Tess Merlot and pianist/composer Guillaume Marcenac. Naturally, the greatest Christmas classics will also be played, from White Christmas to Let It Snow — but, naturellement, in French. An unforgettable Christmas evening guaranteed for lovers of France, the French language and French music, and for anyone who loves to be swept away by stories and music full of winter warmth.
During Oh la la Noël!, Guillaume and Tess will be joined by a special musical guest. Who it is remains a secret for now — because who doesn’t love magical surprises at Christmas?
