🎶 4e édition à La Bellonette !J’ai le grand plaisir d’inviter cette année deux artistes exceptionnels :🎻 Christiaan van Hemert, figure incontournable du jazz manouche européen🎤 Madmoizelle B Swing, l’une des plus belles voix du swing françaisChaque édition à La Bellonette est unique. Au-delà du concert, ce sont souvent de belles rencontres qui donnent naissance à de nouveaux projets.L’an dernier, j’y partageais la scène avec mon ami Gerardo Rosales. Hot Club de France Django, Stories & Chansons GUILLAUME MARCENAC & CHRISTIAAN VAN HEMERT & NADJA FILTZER Deze avond ademt de zwoele sfeer van het frivole Parijse nachtleven in de jaren dertig tot vijftig. Des artistes magnifiques doen hun entrée. Gasten als Édith Piaf, Josephine Baker, Juliette Greco en Billie Holiday (vriendin van Piaf) ‘Met muziek van o.a. Django Reinhardt, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Charles Trenet en Jacques Brel, maar ook composities van dit unieke trio. Guillaume Marcenac, jazzpianist, componist, arrangeur, dirigent en producer,& visionary artist in music creation. Tien jaar geleden initieerde Guillaume de samenwerking van dit trio. Hij maakt avontuurlijke arrangementen in een verrassende, geraffineerde mix van Modern Jazz en klassieke Chansons, “jazzy visie op het Franse chanson” Bert Jansma AD. Hij speelde in vele Stage entertainment Broadway musicals, had zijn eigen ‘Worldwide Bigband’ op zijn 28e en dirigeert en arrangeert voor koren en orkesten. Als producer van events en albums op zijn eigen label GM records en als componist en arrangeur werkte hij voor talloze artiesten van internationale klasse; Ellister van der Molen, Ernst Daniël Smid, Ben Kramer, Gerardo Rosales o.a. in het BIM-huis en Tess Merlot met het Residentie-orkest. Christiaan van Hemert is een vermaard gitarist en violist. Naast zijn virtuose spel is hij een boeiend verteller. Over de origine van de Hot Club De France van waaruit het Franse chanson is ontstaan en over zijn specialisme: Gypsy jazz & Django Reinhardt (ook onbekendere stukken) Anekdotes delend en bijzondere ervaringen van over de hele wereld in Gypsy jazz festivals. Hij werkte met wereldbefaamde artiesten zoals geregeld als violist met het Rosenberg trio en naast Stochelo of Mozes Rosenberg en Paulus Schafer. De lijst is eindeloos; Joscho Stefan, Fapy Lafertin, Tchavolo Schmitt, Roby Lakatos, Remi Harris en Gary Potter e.v.a. Hij staat bekend als docent, geeft les aan de Hogeschool van Rotterdam en het online lesplatform ‘The Rosenberg Academy’, waarmee hij wereldwijd veel enthousiaste muzikanten geholpen hun vaardigheden in de Gypsy jazz te verbeteren. Nadja Filtzer is chansonnière en allround performer, afgestudeerd als actrice in 1997. Ze zingt met warme, diepe stem, danst als een zigeunerin of kruipt in een rol. From that moment, everything changed. Guillaume, a jazz and classical pianist, had fallen in love with Latin jazz—its energy, rhythms, and soul. To him, it was truly inspiring. Gerardo, an Afro-Cuban and Caribbean music expert who had recorded with legendary pianists Bebo Valdés and Edy Martínez, immediately recognized Guillaume’s talent. Passionate about the piano himself, Gerardo started music by learning the instrument and developed a deep, personal connection with it. He loved how Guillaume’s compositions and playing conveyed genuine emotion and was excited to explore how their worlds could come together. During that session, a special chemistry sparked. Guillaume felt a profound connection to Latin jazz, and Gerardo saw the potential for something truly unique. They decided to form Charanjazz, bringing in talented musicians: Myrthe, a specialist in both classical and jazz violin; Patricia, an expert in jazz and Latin bass; and Eduardo, an authentic sonero from Havana whose voice embodies the soul of Latin music. Gerardo explains, “Charanga is a vibrant Cuban ensemble that performs chachachá, danzón, and traditional music. We wanted to honor that while fusing it with jazz’s harmonic language.” Guillaume adds, “Latin jazz speaks to me on a deep level. It’s storytelling through rhythm and melody.
