On Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 PM, a special edition of Jazz’n Jam will take place at De Hoeksteen. This afternoon is entirely dedicated to music, connection, and improvisation. During Jazz for Everyone, visitors can enjoy a concert, followed by an interactive workshop and an open jam session. Whether you want to listen, learn, or join in—everyone is welcome.![]()

The program is part of a series of events across four cities aimed at making jazz accessible to a wide audience. The goal is to bring people closer to the music and to create opportunities for musicians of different levels to play together.![]()

During this edition, performers include bassist Robin Koerts, drummer Sven Rozier, and trumpeter Ellister van der Molen. They will present new arrangements and demonstrate how jazz is created in the moment—energetic, improvisational, and full of interaction.![]()

After the concert, there will be a workshop and an open jam session where (amateur) musicians will have the opportunity to play alongside experienced professionals. For the audience, this offers a unique chance to experience jazz up close and to witness the creative process behind improvisation.![]()
